  • What is your lead time?
    Our standard lead time is approximately 4-6 weeks from the point that the invoice is paid and artwork is approved. This time frame may also increase during times of heavy volume or around holidays. It is highly recommended that custom items are ordered well in advance of the date needed. Changes requested after the item has been placed on the production schedule may not be possible, or may restart this time table. Most items ship UPS, although other carriers such as FedEx or USPS may be used. A signature may be required at delivery, unless the delivery slip is checked to leave without signature. Having your phone number on file will help us ensure your package is delivered without issue, and we do not use or sell phone numbers for marketing purposes.   • Can I split my order between multiple teams or people? Do you help with league sales?
    Yes, we can absolutely split an order between multiple teams or individuals! It’s a great way to streamline group orders and keep everyone organized. This gives you the benefit of a cohesive look between all of the teams and discounted pricing based on larger quantity orders. Please note that we have a minimum order quantity of 25 pieces, and payment for the full order must be completed before production can be scheduled. Once the order is ready, we’re happy to ship to multiple locations as long as the additional shipping fees are covered. If you're coordinating a group or multi-team order for working for an entire league, let us know your needs—we’re here to help make the process as easy as possible.   • How do I care for my 3D decals?
    To ensure the longevity of your 3D decals, clean them with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they may damage the decals. Store unused decals in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If you have any specific care questions, feel free to contact us at Info@RaisedDecals.com.
  • Can you produce AI-generated images or artwork?
    AI-generated images are often highly detailed and complex, which can make them difficult to replicate with our production methods. At RaisedDecals.com, our decals are not printed—they are made using a unique additive manufacturing process that builds up material for a raised, dimensional look. Because of this, designs created by AI may need to be simplified to work within our production capabilities. Extremely fine details, gradients, or textures often found in AI art may not translate well into our raised format. If you're submitting an AI-generated design, we’ll review it and let you know what adjustments may be necessary. Our goal is always to preserve the spirit of your design while ensuring the final product meets our quality standards.   • Uses for Raised Decals
    Our decals are most commonly used for helmet decals, and were designed with such in mind. They work great on all common sports helmets, including baseball, softball, hockey, and lacrosse. However, they also work great on cars, trucks and other auto's. They also work great on laptops and other surfaces. Use anywhere! With this in mind, they are great for school booster club sales or fundraising. If you need retail packaging - let us know!

  • What size helmet decal do I need?
    We now have a full site page devoted to this question. Although we cannot recommend what size you order, we have provided some information and lots of pictures to reference. Check it out here. (https://www.raiseddecals.com/sizing) For further assistance, please contact us at Info@RaisedDecals.com or call 480-382-1422. The customer is responsible for providing and approving exact specifications for the custom product and we do not make recommendations on what spec's are needed for your design. Our process is to use the height of your design and then scale the image for width to uphold the integrity of the design. (Providing both height and width can sometimes stretch the design into a distortion from your actual logo.) Please make sure you measure and test your design to ensure you are ordering a product that fits your needs. ​ Final specs are always included on your invoice. Please do not pay your invoice if any spec's are inaccurate, as once paid it is placed on the production schedule and changes are not necessarily possible. ​
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Venmo. You can select your preferred payment method during the checkout process.   • Artwork and 3D Renderings
    Unfortunately, we’ve moved to a process where pre-payment is required for artwork. 3D renderings require considerable time by a graphic designer to produce. This is a significant cost to incur for customers who do not ultimately place an order. If we do not create an acceptable 3D rendering or if approval of artwork is not provided by the customer, the payment will be fully refunded in a timely manner. As with everything else, inflation has significantly impacted our business. We have not increased our prices in an effort to make our products as affordable as possible to our customers. But with this, we need to have efficient operations. We have chosen to focus on paying customers and provide them with the best service possible at the best price possible. We thank you for your understanding. Please note: It is customary for other print shops to charge for custom artwork similar to what we do. It is not a widespread free service. Artwork fee’s are different and separate from mold fees, as molds are used to produce your actual product and are cast based on their associated 3D renderings. We require a $40 non-refundable deposit on artwork being produced without full payment. If/when an order is placed, the deposit amount will be applied to your order. ​
  • Can I get a sample?
    We provide free samples of previously made designs. Just send us your address and we would be happy to mail you out some. Also provide the logo you are looking to make and we can try to find something similar to show you. Please note that since samples are free, they ship USPS First Class (aka snail mail). Please consider this when planning your order, as if waiting to see samples, it can delay your ordering timeline. ​ We also provide a free 3D rendering of your design with your order and allow unlimited changes. However, we do not prototype. We will not create a free sample of your exact design, as this would incur the full mold fee and additional expenses associated with all orders.
  • Are the helmet decals glue'on's?
    Oh hhhhheeeeeccccckkkkk NO! They are NOT glue-on's. We have spent significant time and dollars researching and developing our product with the best adhesive available for the 3D material. Simply peel of the backing paper and stick on. These are not 3D printed, homemade, requiring to be soaked in water to soften or messing with super glue. These are professional decals trusted by professional teams.
  • Mold Fees
    We make an actual metal mold of your specific design in the size you would like it. Therefore a separate mold is required for each product we are producing for you. We then keep molds on file for 4 years, and any reorders made in that time period will not incur a mold fee. We do not charge any other set-up fees for your order. When reordering using an existing mold, the colors can be changed to whatever you would like, but the design/size cannot change.
  • Adhesive Performance Policy
    At RaisedDecals.com, we take pride in being the original innovators of custom 3D batting helmet decals. We were the first to bring this style of product to market, and in doing so, we worked directly with 3M to identify the best-performing adhesive specifically suited to our unique materials and the demands of athletic use. While we stand firmly behind the quality of our decals, we cannot offer a lifetime guarantee that the decal will adhere permanently to every helmet. There are numerous real-world factors that can impact adhesive performance, including but not limited to: Whether the helmet was new or previously used If the surface was properly cleaned or prepared prior to application The cleanliness and condition of the helmet at the time of application How the helmet is stored and handled long term, including exposure to heat, moisture, or impact These variables are outside our control, and as such, we cannot guarantee indefinite adhesion in all cases. That said, RaisedDecals.com uses only premium-grade materials and industry-leading adhesive technology to give our customers a superior product. While many competitors have entered the market without the same level of research and development, we remain committed to providing decals that are both visually striking and built to last under normal conditions. For best results, we strongly recommend: Applying decals to new or thoroughly cleaned helmets Ensuring surfaces are dry, grease-free, and smooth. We recommend cleaning with rubbing alcohol even on new helmets.   • Do you work with schools or universities? Can you help with paperwork?
    Yes, we work with high schools, colleges, and universities across the U.S., and we’re very familiar with the purchasing processes that go along with them. We can assist with formal quotes, new vendor paperwork, W-9 forms, formal bids, bidding portals, and purchase order support. We also work with many Independent School Districts (ISDs) in Texas and understand the specific requirements they often have.   • How much do helmet decals cost?
    Please view our pricing for our different helmet decals on our shop page. We do not charge by color and our pricing includes all sizes generally used for helmet decals. Prices are subject to change. Quotes are honored for 1 month on standard pricing. Sales are honored through the promotional period advertised only.
  • Return Policy
    All sales final. Unfortunately, with the production of custom products we are not able to accept returns. There is no where to restock or resell your design! We are not responsible for dissatisfaction with color or size if the product was made to the specifications provided and approved by the buyer. ​ Artwork is free with paid, produced orders only. There will not be a separate artwork fee outlined on your invoice. If your order has not been produced but a 3D rendering provided, a $40 artwork fee will be assessed for invoices paid and refunded.
  • Instructions for decal application
    For best results and ensuring the best adhesive bond possible, please follow the following steps. ​ 1) Apply to a clean, dry surface only. Dirt, dust, debris, moisture and air bubbles (more easily seen in 2D decals) can compromise the decal’s ability to stick. Factors such as surface area, weight, and width of the design can affect the decals ability to bond long term as well. ​ 2) To get the best bond on a helmet or curved surface, apply with the decal flexed inward. ​ 3) Push air bubbles out to the edges from the center. 4) Allow the adhesive to cure on the helmet for 24 hours.
  • Metallic finishes and gradients
    At RaisedDecals.com, we’re proud to produce high-quality custom decals using a unique raised material that delivers a bold, three dimensional look. However, due to the nature of the materials and processes we use, there are a few design limitations to keep in mind when placing your order: 🚫 What We Cannot Produce Gradients or Fades: Our material does not support gradient or fade effects. Any gradient sections in your design will be converted into solid colors that best represent the intended look. Metallic Finishes: At this time, we are unable to produce true metallic finishes such as chrome, glitter, or reflective materials. Silver will be produced as a shade of gray Gold will be produced as a shade of yellow or tan, depending on your design ✅ What We Can Produce Bold, solid color designs Multi-color designs using matte, opaque colors Raised, high-durability decals ideal for sports helmets, equipment, and accessories We’re happy to help adjust your artwork to fit within these guidelines and ensure your design looks its best when produced.   • What are my Pantone colors?
    First, lets define Pantone. Pantone provides a universal system for communicating specific colors. It helps designers and producers define, communicate and control colors from the design stage to the final product stage. And in basic terms - its a code (ex: 7436 C) assigned to a color. And codes exist for thousands of colors. We use these codes to communicate to production, who mixes and makes the product to your color. Please note that based on the nature of our material used to make our 3D products, that settling and slight variations in color can occur. This is normal for this material. ​ To ensure a good match of your decals/custom products to your logo, please provide your Pantone colors to us. The best way to get your Pantone colors? Ask someone else! Unless this is a brand new design, someone else has likely created your products in the past and has this information. Colleges/universities - inquire with your marketing department. High schools - ask your administration. ​ Other ways to determine your Pantone colors - there are tools to help with this. While there are some free phone apps, they aren't the greatest and this isn't the right forum to write a blogger review of them. For online resources, check out https://www.pantone.com/color-finder#/convert?pantoneBook=all or https://codebeautify.org/rgb-to-pantone-converter and plug in your RGB (red/green/blue) numbers from a picture you have of your design. ​ Otherwise, our process is to convert the RGB from the digital file or picture you provided and include the Pantone color matches on your invoice along with other spec's for your approval. However, image quality and lighting can affect this, which is why we encourage obtaining and providing this information to us directly. NOTE: Do not pay the invoice if one of the spec's is wrong. Once it's paid, your order gets placed on the production schedule.
  • Does Raised Decals sell Hockey Decals?
    Of course our decals work as hockey decals! We do have a couple of notes for this group though: Our decals are sold individually. We do not sell sets that have the 2 logos for either side of the helmet along with numbers. If your logo is mirrored it would incur 2 mold fees (for example, a mascot that needs to be looking forward on either side of the helmet). We have a minimum order size of 25 per design. Our decals need to be placed on a flat surface. The curvature of the helmet is OK, but we do not recommend using them over ridges or areas where there is a distinct edge.
  • Lost or stolen packages
    We understand how concerning it can be when your tracking shows "Delivered" but you haven’t received your order. Please note that once a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, it is considered successfully delivered, and RaisedDecals.com is not responsible for lost or stolen items after this point. If you’re experiencing this issue, we recommend the following steps: Verify your shipping address by reviewing your order confirmation or invoice. Check around your property, including side doors, porches, or other areas where packages may be left. Ask neighbors or household members in case someone else retrieved it. Allow 24–48 hours, as packages are occasionally scanned as delivered slightly before actual arrival. Contact the shipping carrier directly (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) to inquire or file a claim.   • Do we ship outside of the US?
    Yes we do! On orders shipping to Canada or Mexico there is an additional $10 charge on your order. Any additional import charges or dues will need to be paid by the customer. You will be notified by the shipping carrier of what, if any, these charges are.
  • How do I place an order?
    Placing your order is easy! Please go to our shop page to review pricing and options for the product of your choice. Then complete the easy order form to submit your specific details. A customer service representative will reach out to finalize your order.
  • What is your minimum order size?
    All of our products have a minimum order size of 25 with the exception of custom color number decals. Custom number decals have a minimum order size of 5 sets. Our stock items, such as white or black number decals, American Flags, or state flags, have no minimum order sizes and are available for purchase at any time via the shop page.
